Matt Somerville

Regional Manager

Matt has been in the recruitment industry since 2009, with a brief stint selling shipping containers before being pulled back into a sector he genuinely enjoys. He started out as a temp in a warehouse, picking and packing, before moving into his first consultant role. That hands-on experience has given him a valuable 360-degree perspective on what we do and the real impact it has on our candidates.

One of the highlights of his career so far was being nominated for Leader of the Year at the RCSA Awards in 2024.
Outside of work, He is a big motorsport fan. Until recently, he was heavily involved in Speedway, where he had great success across both New Zealand and Australia. These days, a lot of his energy goes into keeping up with his new puppy. He has also competed in Hyrox events, and if he is not in the office, there’s a good chance you’ll find him at a CrossFit gym.
